I am the original owner of a 92 3000gtsl. I've saved it in hopes that my son would take an intrest in it and paint and fix it up. With 200,000 miles is it even worth keeping?

Question type: General

Great car in it's day but my family isn't taking any intrest in fixing it up. I see her with a
new paint job and drop a new engine in her and she"ll be back to her glory. Everyone
keeps telling me to give it away. Cost of repairs is an issue but i don't know anyone
who wants to fix her up. Not sure where to turn. Jennifer

Oh I would keep it for sure. My son gets the keys to his 91 3000gt sl that we put back together in a month. But if you decide to get rid of it send me a private message cause I might can help you move it. Also go to my garage here and let your son see what it could look like. Maybe he will gain some interest. Here is my sons at his first car show last year.
