AUDI SQ5 Summer tires and rims

Hi, I'm purchasing an AUDI SQ5, which has summer performance tires. I know
they are no good for driving in snow and icy conditions. It is equipped with the
sport package which includes the gloss black low profile rims. Do I need to
purchase a set of rims as well or will the original rims with stand the winter?

If the roads are salted in the winter you might want to get wheels to go with your winter tires.
