where is the fuse for the windshield wipers on a 1997 ford explorer XLT?

My windshield wipers will not work at all and I don't know why

Could be the circuit board on the firewall

You may have two. There may be a power distribution box located in the engine conpartment next to the firewall under a plastic cover. There may also be one in the passenger compartment at the left of the instrument panel. To get to this one open the drivers side door and look at the side of the dash. It will have a cover matching the color of the dash.
