My 92 eclipse runs rich only on hot days or lengthy or if I run it more than about 18 miles on a cool day

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After my car is fully heated up, it puts out black smoke and runs rich.  After doing research it says that the ECU/ECM could be bad.  When I searched for the part on NAPA website it says that rarely is it the ECU.  It says to check the TCC Selenoid.  Can anyone assist me with this issue?
