Swapping transmissions

Can I take the
transmission out of a
2000 mustang and put
it in a 1997 mustang.
They both have same
size motor and all.

You can, I did it....you need to repin the connection on the passenger side of the transmission, OR swap out the internal wiring. You also will need to use the same tail section off the trans because the driveshaft needs the specific rear seal or you'll leak trans fluid all over.
