Hi, what computer did you buy for it? did it come with a generic map? was the car ok befor the computer? It sounds like it needs mapping. If not, it could be the o2 sensor is wrong or is in the wrong place. It does also sound like the car is in limp mode which will limit and cut at around 3500rpm so you don't see boost to protect the engine. Try removing the battery lead to reset the ecu 1st. Any smoke out the exhaust? Smell of gas? If so, its overfuelling which is more than likely limp mode ie. to limp home with.

i bought a stock computer for this car and it had to be the computer thats for the gsx and thats why it is more exspensive and i replaced the o2 senser and fuel pump and got my injecters cleaned and everything but whats limp mode or how do you take it out of limp mode if it is limp mode but why i ask is before my vehicle would get into boost and then my car started to act up and then broke down and i but 1400 in it including the computer and it started to run again but now when it gets to 3500 rpms it like wants to fall on its face like its starving for gas it just dont want to go into high boost at all.

no my motor isnt knocking what its doing is starving for fuel when it reaches 3500 rpms it wants to die like its running out of gas but i think i figure out my problem i bought an o2 senser but they gave me a 1992 instead of the 1990 i needed and i think that is what my problem is im justy waiting on my senser to get in and ill but it in and see if that takes care of it which hopefully it does
