My 2006 will not shift into any gear

You don't say manual or automatic, but maybe, if you are lucky it's just linkage broken of fallen off

Here's some advise about the shift lock from DavidH - http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t31518_ds537518 -- If you have fluid and the gear selector moves, it sounds like it's time to get towed to the transmission shop.

I was not thinking that through, didn't consider shift lock, only like it moves but does not go in to gear. Thanks TS
