Nissan Armada wont start

Yes that could be the reason your car won't start in the first place you need to get a code reader or have a mechanic do it. You need to write down every single code and figure out what they are but they most likely stem from your Ecm issue. If I were you I'd replace the Ecm relay the one your talking about. Also make sure that your battery is putting out the correct voltage if the battery is bad your starter won't even kick in. Or if you have a bad connection. You might also need to clean the post on your batteries and the cables on the inside once you take them off the posts. SECONDLY AND also very importantly once your relay is fixed if you do this yourself youd want to clear all the codes with your code reader. The reason you write them down is so once you delete them you can still do troubleshooting if that doesn't fix your problem. You can look up your codes online too BTW. Once your car is fixed and running you need to reconnect your code reader the plug in is underneath your steering somewhere BTW it is a male end that plugs into a female on you device/codereader to see if any of the codes come back if they do you need to figure out what they are and issues and get them fixed. BTW you can buy a 327 Elm interface Bluetooth code reader/Obd // is whats its called. I have the Bluetooth one it will tell you everything you need to know and take you to the internet to tell you what your codes mean I bought mine online its like $15.00. Hope this helps. BTW you will need to download the Torque app online i have the one I paid $4.00 for and I love it it is awesome. Side note the code reader might not work with the key turned on car might need to run but it should once you plug it in it should show red lights. Then go to your Bluetooth on your phone and forget all paired devices. Once your paired to your scanner go to the app you downloaded and check your fault codes the way to delete them is by selecting the three dots top right hand corner and the selets erase. Remember what I told you though if you do this yourself! In order to connect to your obd// scanner the second or third time etc you might have to unpaired it every time in your Bluetooth or it might not work. Last and also important it might say your Bluetooth isn't connected once you go on the app if it does keep clicking on the fault codes or check codes and it should work if it doesn't you will have to go into your settings on your torque app and give it permission Etc. Also make sure to get the Bluetooth code reader I definitely recommend that if you have any issues which you shouldn't if all that is is a relay let me know I've worked on this kind of stuff before. Good luck. BTW your elm controls everything its your cars computer if their is something wrong with it your car Will Not start no matter what you do until you get that fixed its very important.

The reason your getting so many codes is definitely because of your Ecm. Everything is shut down or not working right don't quote me that it won't start if the relay or wiring in your ecm is bad but if it does start you will still have all kinds of issues since that is the brain that makes everything work.

Google each code and it will show u explanation for each one. Example 2005 nissan P1819 and u'll see: P1819 NISSAN Meaning - Malfunction occurs in transfer control device drive circuit. - Malfunction is detected in transfer shut off relay 1 and transfer shut off relay 2.

The 1800 codes are related to transmission. If it doesn't start, why did u replace starter? Unless u meant, it doesn't crank, if that's the case, start by cleaning all battery cables and making sure they're tight this will also reset the codes when u disconnect battery cables
