Why doesnt my radio play any sound?

I had a timing chain replaced in my 05 Nissan Maxima.  All was well, until, I
noticed my radio/stereo was not playing.  Turned around, and Took it back
into the shop, and they
said they had no idea why. Was I sure it was working?  YES! Im SURE it was.  
Could someone PLEASE help me. It cost 4000.00
for the timing chain replacement at dealer, just to pick it up and have no radio.  
The volume shows, the CD load and unload, but the only lights on is the
volume, it has no sound either.  Undid the battery again, but that didn't work.  
Any ideas?

That is strange, I would push the dealer to find the issue, get the regional manager involved if you have to or call Nissan Customer support. Maybe it's simply a blown fuse.

Disconnecting the battery can cause programming errors in the computer systems, as the accessories are computer controlled this could easily have happened. I would pressure the dealer that did the work into fixing it, it sounds like the disconnected main power and didn’t use the memory tool during work. Even though the dealer is supposed to know how to do it right few actually do.

Kari Lynne 11:03 AM (0 minutes ago) to CarGurus what is a TDC and does that have something to do with the radio? Bob, I appreciate your help. I think it is something simple, though dealer is trying to convince me, it was a coincidence that it went out, at the time they had my car. I hear a tick tick tick, ever so lightly in the passenger area of the speaker, when volume is turned up, but that is it. I am thinking a ground wire, or fuse, but dont know where all of these are located. Could you help me?
