2019 Toyota Rav4 Towing Limit

I have a 2019 Toyota Rav4 and I need to tow a trailer, according to my
Vehicle towing limit, it states it has a towing capacity of 1,500LB. However, I
recently purchased a tow hitch with a towing capacity of 4,500LB.

Does that change anything? is my towing Capacity now 4,500 or still 1,500?
I understand the hitch could pull up to 4,500 pounds, but my limit would still
be 1,500? or am I mistaken.

That is just the capacity of the hitch only, your vehicles capacity is still only 1500 no matter what the hitch says. Equipment is just not heavy duty to handle anymore than that, springs, differential, shocks, etc.
