Is there any difference between the Transmissions ?

i have a Murano 2005 SE AWD , i went for looking at spare parts for the gear , when i
showed it to the garages they told me its an American Type !!!! its not Japanese Type :D
any idea about that difference ?
I Live in QATAR.

It's geared for the roads and EPA regulations of the USA.

Is it a CVT transmission? If it is you can't rebuild it or do much in the way of fixing anything internal.

Not sure what you mean by ATF? ATF means automatic transmission fluid. A CVT transmission is an automatic transmission that does not shift. It's one continuous gear much like a snowmobile. A normal automatic transmission shifts gears, and you can feel it doing so. Usually they are 4, 5 or 6 speeds, all still being automatic transmissions.
