My 2005 Nissan Pathfinder is making a noise only when the RPM reaches 2250.

Asked by Allan Mar 21, 2012 at 11:44 AM about the 2005 Nissan Pathfinder XE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The noise sounds like a pulley squeeling and it only happens after the vehicle gets around 2250-2500 RPM.  Any ideas?

Did you notice that sound while while driving only or when parked as well? Any vibrations along the noise? I had the noise sound and vibrations while driving between 35-40 mph. Took a car to local dealership; they replaced the U-joint and the noise and vibration disappeared. Good luck ~ Mike
