Do you use your own proprietary system for car valuation/pricing?

Asked by Vincent Jan 06, 2017 at 12:02 PM about the 2005 Nissan Titan SE Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I've cross referenced several vehicles with matching options/condition, mileage,
etc. and have consistently noticed a difference in valuation in comparison to
other valuation tools such as Kelly Blue Book, etc.

I calculate them all by hand and go through 210 rolls of adding machine paper a day. I hate my job.

All the car valuation sites yield different prices when I check them so I would say yes, each one uses different methods or data. Poor Bob.

I used to use an abacus with one of the balls missing....

Edmunds uses a random number generator. Bob is probably more reliable with his abacus.
