I need to replace my 2005 Nissan Titan E locking differential, with a non locking one I have found they are very expensive and hard to find used or can I rebuild it cheaper than replacing it

Asked by WQUAY1963 Feb 13, 2019 at 07:13 PM about the 2005 Nissan Titan XE King Cab 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

Also is it cheaper to rebuild it rather than replace it

1 Answer

If you are looking for cheap try junkyards and Craig's List. The Titan rear axle is a known problem but there are HD aftermarket solutions that will solve all your rear axle problems. You could look for a differential shop to rebuild the one you have.
