My passenger side window won't go all the way up with automatic return. It goes up, but then comes back down about 3 inches. Anyone know why??

Very late post to this question but i just got this problem too on my 03 touring, i have a feeling the window actuator motor has gotten moisture or something inside of it and now it malfunctions it has been really cold this winter and last winter it happened to my dad civic so i believe a change in weather has caused this. But i think im going to take off my door panel and look into it, see what exactly might be going on.

Thanks for your answer. Moisture might be the problem, because it's been consistent no matter what the outside temperature is. Good luck with yours! ~John
