Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello everyone,

Anybody knows how could I check my TPS and IAC
valve in my Altima 2004?
I have a jerky shifting problem, and after searching
a loootttt I figure out that there might be TPS or IAC
fault, although I have NO check engine lighg on. It
also looks like an electrical issue!

The very vest way is with a scan tool that can read PIDS (Input and Output signals). I sincerely doubt that your transmission shifting concerns are related to either the TPS or the IAC (especially the IAC). BTW - a the Check Engine light is only illuminated when a component or system is operating outside of designed, measurable parameters. If you think that it's an electrical problem, why not take it to a Transmission Shop that can check exactly what it's doing and cut the guesswork?
