The owners manual says. The oil filler cap may have the oil spec printed on it or even the dipstick. Do use a BMW approved oil!
The Owner manual gives me the choice to chose between 0w-20 0w-30 5w-30 5w-40 Oil type: BMW Longlife-04 ; Longlife 12 FE ; Longlife 17 FE Really don't know what to choose... My average driving is going really fast or going really slow. Average year temp is 25ºC
