A fan is staing on when i turn of my van and it runs down the battery do you know what that could be

I had to go and get a new battery after the van had been sitting two days because it drained the battery it sounds like a fan humming

Follow the noise and see what fan it is. You have one for the heat in the cabin and one on the radiator for engine cooling. It's probably the radiator fan because they will run after the engine is turned off and the coolant temperature rises. Could be a sensor or welded relay contacts if it's on.
