Check the connections be wiggling them for a good amount of force. If they're able to turn, tighten them more.

Locate the starter. Have someone hold your key to the ON position. As they hold the key, rap on the starter with a hammer. If the truck suddenly turns over, your starter is bad. If that doesn't work, try starting the truck in neutral. You may have a bad neutral safety switch. Post back with results......

That's good advice. But if battery cables are good, does the red led anti-theft stop flashing when you insert key? If not, the immobilizer might have lost it's programming and key is not communicating with ECU

CHECK YOU LINKAGE! If when you turn the key and the radio lights go out but all else is normal, except you get nothing at the starter, look at you gear indicator, pull it into gear. Did it move? If not it is the link between the column and tranny. Get under the dash and you will see the cable hanging loose. Put a steel cli pin on it and you are off! I just went through this and found it. POS platic clips used, replace wi

Problem solved! My '08 titan was not turning over only making a click sound. Now considering I had just replaced the intake manifold which is not the most simple task I assumed I had unplugged a wire along the way. I checked all the electrical connections I could think of and went over all the fuses(in which I was missing several) and still nothing.Turns out a few months earlier ( it's been sitting for sometime now) I was needing to move the vehicle which at the time was less a battery so I shifted the transmission into N by manually detaching the linkage bracket from the side of the tranny allowing me to shift it into N by hand. Well of course I had forgotten this all had happened until reading over the previous post and then it dawned on me what I had done so I hooked the linkage back up as it were originally and Voila! It started!
