the car started making a loud knocking sound and I thought its was because I was due for an oil change but then it started to get louder. I thought to put some motor in it but it didn't work it had stop running. when I went to start it up again the car wouldn't accelerate. I then had my mechanic look at it and he told me it's my motor I need I new on. at this point I just don't know what I should do?

If you can find a car for that price that's in the same shape get another. But if the motor is the only problem id fix the one I have. 1500 to much for motor swap. 500 over to be exact price elsewhere.
