Asked by Mgmula670 Mar 18, 2018 at 11:48 AM about the 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my Nissan Altima 03 2.5s sitting in the
driveway for about a month and when I went to
start it nothing. I took the battery and starter to
AutoZone they tested and said everything was fine
and charged the battery fully for me. I cleaned my
battery terminals and put a 06 positive fuse on the
positive side. When I turn the key to ignition
sometimes the dash board lights come on most
the time not. When I crank the car all lights go out
on the dash and I hear nothing. I have a new OEM
crank sensor and cam sensor. I have no idea where
to go next to only think it's a electric problem
maybe from the fuse box by the alternator. Or take
my alternator out to see if it is testing well. What
should my next step be ?? Get a light kit and test
all electrical currents ? Another thingy friend took
his battery from his car which is brand new and put
it in my car and still the same problem nothing. If
anyone has any advice itd very much appreciate it
thank you for your time.

How would I test that with a light kit and multimeter or should I get a vehicle scanner? Someone suggested it might be the ignition switch . Thank you for responding!

I checked my fuses under the hood and under the steering wheel and all are blown and discoloured what does this mean?
