Bad break light switch at brake pedal, untill you have it repaired, remove brake light fuse or remove battery cable,it will keep from running battery down.
Check with your local Nissan dealer to see if there is a recall for this problem. Since the Federal Government mandated the use of the Center High Mount Stop Light in the late 1980s, many manufacturers have had quality problems with the switch that is activated by the brake pedal.

Hi nice to meet you. In nissan in the break you have 2 switch. One is for the break light or stop light and the other is for the shift lever. Every time you push the break the two switch actuated and the light go on and you can move the shift. In the break you have 2 rubber bushing each one for switch. If your stop light stay on you have those bushing broke, you can fix with buying that bushing or with a nut and a bolt.
