Is there anyway to put a maxima 3.5L engine in a 03 Sentra GXE?

I know the VQ35DE has been successfully swapped into the B14 chassis, which is the 95-99 Sentra - I'm sure it can be done with yours as well. Just bear in mind that you will need (at BARE minimum) engine, transaxle, driveaxles, front spindles (including all brake hardware), radiator, shift linkage, ECU, wiring harness, motor mounts, alternator, power steering pump & lines (and possibly the rack&pinion unit, but I can't quite remember off the top of my head), intake (including IAT, MAF, and any other sensors), all cooling lines & hoses, etc etc etc. Additionally, you're going to need to fabricate brackets for the motor mounts (make sure to leave yourself as much room as you can manage between the back of the motor and the firewall, otherwise you'll do some damage with the motor shifts on the shift), you'll need to make room for the larger radiator, possibly including fabricating mounting points. I don't know where you're located, but here in CA the DMV requires the motor you swap in to be at least the same year or newer than the chassis to be smog legal and/or able to be registered. Also, please bear in mind that this swap is likely to take you a few months of hard work to get done, whether you're doing it yourself or having a shop do it for you. Oh, almost forgot the exhaust and fuel pump may need to be changed out as well. Let me know how it turns out when you get it done!
If you want a sleeper there are way easier ways to pull that off .As far as the actual swap you speak of, its not only an issue of money but the bigger issue is ,not two many people, a hand full at best will be able to do it "RIGHT". Theres a big difference between having it done and having what you talk about doing being done .You want people looking it over and saying "man thats sick" Bottom Line It would take talent few possess.
fi-r.net is the place to go for the 3.5 swap. typically it's done in spec v's that have had their glass engines grenade.
not actually a huge problem doing this. alot of b15 vq swaps now. you can look at allsentra barry one of the good members on there has i belive its a 05 or 06 with a 4,1 stroked vq on 250 porgressive nitrous. 2j could do it up easy for ya.
