may i ask, how you came to the diagnosis of cylinder 3?
at the garage when i had my intermediate pipe fixed they had it on the computer.
were they not interested in further diagnosis with that? most likely the physical appearance will seem ok, (if you replace a wire/plug you should do all 4 at the same time. can't remember if the 03 had what is called a coil pack, or distributor, do you know that or no?
is it 1 3 4 2 looking at engine from front of car?
can't afford $200.00 for all 4
that eliminates a wire issue, either the coil, or computer controlling it, is my best guess....the coils are most common to failure :(
still not telling me the firing order
obviously it can be either. The parts store said to just get one and then find the firing order for #3
if you know your vin, vehicle identification number, the 8th digit, is it a v, or u? that tells me which engine specifically, so i can tell you
sorry but right now i do not have access to my vin number,i'll get back to you when i get to my car. thank you
1-3-4-2...1 being front (from nissan owners online manual) for all 1.8L
yes, that would be the order..
Hey, between me and John you may get some answers! You are quite welcome

When they say the #3 cylinder is misfiring does mean the 3rd from regent when facing the front of the car or the 3rd cylinder in firing sequence?
