Find out what the code is and let me know.. I'm Canadian .. i hear auto zone will put a reader on for free. This is not an ac issue...
Thank you, Mark. Car started, initially . Now the key is stuck in the ignition. And I can't get it out. If I try and turn it over, it won't start.
I got it started, headed to the nearest Autozone. Thanks, Mark.
Keep me posted.. does your vehicle have an electronic key? Like a a security key? Sounds like a key fob issue ..
AuttoZone, gave 4 possible options. Defective sensor, defective thermostat, low on coolant, engine gasket issue. Referred me to a local mechanic shop. They said , the car was running to we'll to be any of those things. Thermostat just didn't open up in enough time. They cleared the check engine light, added a little more water, said it was fine to run the A/C. Bring it back if it were happen again within the next hour and they would investigate further. No problem, thus far. Thanks, Mark.
No the key is not electronic, but it does have a blue chip.

I have a 2014 Pathfinder SL with keyless ignition. I am turning the ignition on by pressing the start button twice with my foot off the break, but when I follow the steps the CEL does not start to blink. Any advice?
