Why wont my Brake lights and guage lights work?

Asked by Riley Sep 14, 2020 at 09:04 PM about the 2001 Nissan Xterra XE V6 4WD

Question type: General

No matter what I do I can't get my brake lights to
work on my 01 xterra. I've checked for shorts, wires
grounding out, replaced the brake and clutch
switches and I still can't get them to come on. I
heard something about a pink and blue wire that
you need to cross with a black ground. My dadh
lights wint work either. I've had it for 2 weeks and
I'm starting to get seriously frustrated... anyone
help me out please

1) Make sure you're checking Fuse #22 2) Make sure you have dual filament bulbs in and not single filament.
