What is wrong with my gas pedal?
For some odd reason I would be pushing down on my gas pedal then all of
a sudden it stops responding. It would be driving perfectly fine and it would
happen out of nowhere. My radio would still be working and my engine is
still on but my gas pedal wouldn't work. I drive a 2007 toyota camry hybrid.
Also it's a push to start, and when I look at the start button after the gas
pedal stops working, there's an orange light showing. Someone please
help me
Are there any warning lights ON...dash/console? Do you see a lighted Triangle?
I am experiencing the same issue! The engine rpm will go then knocking/clicking and then engine will die and all lights go on with check hybrid system. If you pull over you can restart the car after turning off but it won't accelerate if floored but does find if not overly pushed... I found this wire frayed when looking at my intake manifold to see if there is an issue there. Know what this is or what it controls?
Consider pulling some Codes from the varies Computers on this vehicle. Many auto parts stores will do this for free. Ofcourse you will have to find some way to get to and from said store. Might be best to have it towed to a repair facility for an evaluation. Get back with results
