The radio is no good, you will need to replace it...

It could be a few things and I wouldn't jump to Joe's conclusion that the radio is shot. There is a connection behind the radio at the wiring harness and while it is very secure, the plastic "clips" that keep this together as well as the "ground" for the antennae may have come lose over the last 7 years. If the antennae connection is loose the radio will not function at all. I would pull it from the dash first before junking it or paying to the geek squad at best buy put in some crapo $100 cd/aux/player. Just my two cents. Best of luck!
The radio is no good.... they are known for bad radio's

My solution buy a nicer aftermarket stereo deck and run a power cable (with an inline fuse) from the battery or fuse box if accessible

Seems to me...if you are going to pull the radio for replacement....you might consider checking POWER to the radio and GROUND back to the battery. Without BOTH power and ground...radio will "appear" to be bad. Good Luck.
