Toyota Camry, AC blows cold on right side, but hot on drivers side.

Asked by Treg123 Jun 27, 2017 at 02:34 PM about the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

oyota Camry Hybrid 2007,  AC blows cold on passenger side, hot on left
drivers side.  The ac two sides are linked and set at dual 72 -72 and still
passenger side blows cool, drivers left blows hot.  Its hard to say if the Hot is
car created hot or just the 110 degrees outside in phoenix Arizona.  I have
looked at the fuses, two ac ones, and they look fine.

Any warning lights on or flashing.? The diagnosis usually starts with a Scan for Codes in the AC computer. Check for any parts stores in your area that will scan for free.

I have a 2007 camery XLE it blows hot on drivers side and cool on passenger then quits blowing any cool air. Have had freon replaced, seals replaced, checked for leaks hoses replaced primed and sealed which is now happening every month. Mechanic is now replacing the condenser.hope it works We also had issue with the fan, when the engine was off the fan would not disengage draining the battery. Toyota told me I was leaving the light with automatic shut off on. This is an issue from the amount of post I am now seeing that Toyota is aware of and is ignoring.

Suggestion to the Tech who is replaceing the AC Condenser. Replace the Receiver Dryer and pull the system into a Deep Vacuum for 1 hour to make sure ALL moisture in the AC system is removed. Concerning the COOLING fan? Check for a bad CF relay. Good luck.

Mechanic ended up replacing the evaporator, which had leaks & was filled with dye. Hoping this fixes the issue.
