Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 Camry Hybrid LE.  It only heats on the left side.  I removed the
console and right dash to access the air mix servo.  It appears to be working - it
moves when the right temperature knob is turned.  No matter what the setting is
(defrost, floor, dash) the temperature is still cold.  The dealer wanted $4000 to
replace the entire heater box.  Is this really necessary?

The heater core was partially blocked. I backflushed the heater core and replaced the coolant. It is working fine now!
