Passenger Floor wet

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Just took my 2012 Camry XLE into the dealership for this issue. Will give you their
answer once I'm told what is causing it. This shouldn't happen to a 2012 (or any car) and
we haven't had rain in months.

Too bad you took it to the dealer. 99% of the time it's just the A/C drain tube that gets plugged causing it to back up and drip onto the floor. Either that or if you have a sunroof, the drain holes in the corners get plugged also. But since you have no rain, it's most likely your A/C drain. All that needed to be done was to run a stiff wire up the tube or blow some air through it.

True, unfortunately I had no clue and just found this website AFTER I took it to the dealer :-( I only have used the air conditioner with the defroster. But thanks to everyone I now know what the problem is and going forward can clean it out myself. Never owned a vehicle that had this issue before. Thank you so much for this information and I have bookmarked this site.
