my 2000 nissan maxima doesn't start it cranks tho, I been told that the Ignition switch has to be reprogramed, can someone tell me how to do it my self?

It cranks but don't start, I been told that the Ignition switch has to be re programed, is
there any way I can do it my self that you can tell me how to do it?

It's not the ignition switch that needs to be programmed, but the key to ECM. IF that's what really is wrong. http://www.ehow.com/how_7478560_program-2000-nissan-maxima-key.html

actually it starts some times, I have to try over and over till starts at 5th or 6th time
