Actual Owner Mileage for Ford C-Max and Prius V

The 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid i... EPA estimates fuel economy at a solid 47 mpg in the city and 47 mpg hwy, so obviously 47 combined........The Prius V gets 40 highway and 44 city...42 combined. Also EPA results, not manufacturer , Matter of fact Ford got in to some hot water about mileage claims on new car stickers
C-Max comes with a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder hybrid engine that delivers 188 horsepower. ........ this is 54 horsepower more than the Prius v
After 4 months of learning how to drive my 2013 Prius V efficiently, my actual mileage in city driving varies from 49.4 to 52.0 mpg, well above the EPA ratings. Highway driving at 65 mph varies from 47 to 48 mpg. These are honest numbers, not hype. The dashboard energy flow tools practically teach you how to avoid energy-wasting driving behaviors. I see that Consumer Reports does not rate the C-Max anywhere near that in actual driving conditions. Perhaps there is an owner out there who will share their experience on the C-Max.
My c max gives me 40.1 average and I've had it for a year
I love Prius drivers that creep up hills with 20 cars behind them because they are watching the meter. I really do.
My 2017 C-Max plug-in hybrid is averaging about 160 MPG at the 20,000 mile mark About 90% of the miles are local, with a few 100+ mile trips. It costs about $1.05 for a full charge.
