I have a 1998 Nissan altima, I think the head is cracked. The oil is .milky and white smoke comes out of the tailpipe. Do I need to replace the head? Can I buy one from a junkyard cheap?

tennisshoes is of course right on ---but just to clarify have yours checked before buying another one, and if you buy one from junkyard have it checked before installing . A cold head can have invisible cracks that when hot open up
