For a vehicle that is 400 miles away you can have a family member or friend drive you there. Then pick up the vehicle and drive it home. That's what I did when I bought my 94 Fleetwood. Have the vehicle inspected by a professional inspection company before you buy though. Never buy a used vehicle sight unseen! I've used lemonsquad.com with excellent results. Hope that helps! Jim

Find a local car shipper and ask them for connections for longer hauls, if needed. So many of those online car shipping services are just middle men tacking on expenses over what the shipper itself would charge.

PS I'm with Jim though, just make a road trip to get it, 400 miles is not far.

For a brand new car you should be able to buy one locally unless you live 400 miles from the nearest dealer.
