automatic seat

Asked by Willo02 May 27, 2018 at 09:30 PM about the 1997 Nissan Maxima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1997 Nissan Maxima.  The drivers side automatic seat will go back, up, down and tilt, but won't come back forward.  The back reclines and uprights ok.  Is this a fuse problem or does it need a new motor for the power seat?

I have the same problem did you ever find out what was wrong with the seat and see if it was a fuse issue?

I haven't checked the fuses yet. You have reminded me to do so. Since this is a second car, I don't drive it often, so had sort of forgotten this.
