What is causing the security alarm to sound

Ah the joy of aftermarket alarms. What is typically the issue is the sensitivity on the system is adjusted too high. If you know the manufacturer, you can usually look up online the ways, if any, to adjust the alarm sensitivity so that it takes more vibration/movement before the alarm begins to sound. I have been in your shoes and I'm sorry that you're dealing with it. I eventually just pulled the power wire for mine and went without as it wasn't worth the trouble. Best of luck!
