Wondering about possible Engine Swaps?

Asked by Jacob Feb 10, 2021 at 06:44 AM about the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sedan RWD

Question type: Car Customization

I feel this question is Blasphemy lol but im still going to ask. So my dream
car is a 1955 Chevy Bel-Air but what i wanna know what kind of engines
would i be able to fit inside of one? like exotic car wise i want to put
something like a Ferrari engine into it but i dont know what would actually fit
inside one since i havent actually seen the engine bay of one

(Few engines i was thing were 458, 488, and f430)

This is something that would happen decades probably into the future

Small block and big block Chevy engines will work. I would stick to a small block. Ferrari engine swaps are possible if you have hundreds of thousands of dollars to blow. You can get Ferrari power out of a SBC.

Basically. A well built N/A LQ9 6.0 would throw down enough to put a smile on anybody’s face and the car would be much more manageable as far as drivability goes.
