Have a 96 nissan sentra that won;t start but will crank over and no codes. have replaced the crank sensor and still the same, Pulled the cover off the PCM and tried to do a self diagnostics and the check engine light won't come on. Could it be a bad PCM ?

Could be bad PCM ,but first narrow the symptoms down, are you getting fuel, are you getting fire at plugs?

no fuel, no spark. Code scanner won't connect with the PCM. Even changed the relay on the PCM.
First sign of bad PCM is no connection to it.

Thanks I have been thinking its the PCM especially when I did the self diagnostics and the check engine light didn't come on. Hopefully I can find a used one as the car isn't worth the 400 dollars for a new one....
