Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

We all know there is the 69 impala with the 350, then there is the SS series.
How would someone find out how many were produced with the 396 but not in
the SS classification

In 69 the SS only came with the 427. http://www.1969chevy.com/impala.htm

Thanks this was helpful, especially the link you sent. Is there a good place to get an approximate value, it is for sale by original owner?

Not knowing the condition I could not say but look on Hemming's and Hagerty. Make sure the engine is original, if not the car is worth a lot less than a correct car. A one owner car is a rare find. Good luck!

On a side note, since it's a convertible that makes it rare too! By the late 60s convertibles were falling out of favor, especially on full sized models, do to the affordability of air conditioning. Hope that helps! Jim
