Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I manually pressed in the clutch switch, still no crank. I removed the switch to check its
operation with electrical tester and it was operating properly. I checked and moved
around all the relays. I checked all fuses. This is an original truck with only 8500 miles on
it. It has been sitting unused for many years. I don't know where to go next.

I would check the volts to the starter if the motor's not turning over at all. I had a problem with starter wire loose. But it could be as little as starter solenoid stuck. You can use a test lite to check to see if when you turn to crank position it is getting fire to solenoid. Good luck

It turns out It was the large relay just behind the battery. This solved the cranking issue.

Run a additional ground wire from the battery to the starter mounting bolt .
