Wow, this is crazy. I purchased a Toyota for its reliability. I have a 2007 Honda Fit that’s still ticking. Thank God I have that as a back up. Thanks for your help. Wish me luck.
I have the same problem with this Rav4 2020, I owned the car 5 months battery went dead twice. Got home from work park, next morning death. Never had this happened before until I bought this 2020 Rav4 adventure. It's an adventure for real, I have looked up so many people have this same problem, hope toyota find a solution soon.
Hi, was wondering if Toyota ever fixed your dead battery issue. I brought my car in for 10 000 mile service, gas tank replacement and software update. Got home and 1 hour later car wouldn't start. Tow truck drive had to jump start it and is towing it to dealer. Thanks.
Dead battery this morning. Been getting a battery charging message on my dash when stopped ... had to have it jumped 2020 rav 4

We have had to have it jumped twice to get it to the dealer to repot the issue. The last time was about a little over a month ago. Had it towed into the dealership and they stated it was probably due to a software update. I don’t see the correlation but we just have to jump through the hoops and keep reporting if it happens again. So far so good but this is the way it goes. Good for a few months and then dead again. We shall see.
I purchased a portable car charger. Keep it with me at all times.

Big Bruno, I did the same thing. It’s just sad that I have to deal with this on a 2020 vehicle.

Bigbruno, After the last report Toyota tested the battery and stated it was good. Blamed issue on a computer update. So far so good but have purchased a battery charger/jumper just in case. Will keep posting if I continue to have issues.
