Battery Dead on 2020 RAV4 XLE AWD Gasoline model

My 1 month old 2020 Rav4 XLE AWD - Battery Dead after 8 hours parking.
No devices were hooked to any ports and no lights were left switched on.
1300 miles on it. After reading all the suggestions, i have done 2 things.
First, I have disabled the interlocking electronic parking break. Second, I
took the car to dealership for inspection and asked them for DCM update.
Any other solution? Also, I will post an update after i get back the car with
service department comments. Place: Plano, Texas Date: Oct 2nd, 2020

Update: My dealer has updated the DCM firmware and charged the battery based on the Technical service bulletin: T-SB-0095-20. Note: This bulletin clearly addresses "depleted 12V vehicle battery when in IG-OFF'. I will continue to disable the interlocking electronic parking brake. I hope this helps! Could be a defective battery. Unfortunately it happens sometimes. But keep all documentation and only let the Dealer work on it. If this turns into a Lemon Law claim you'll be glad you did! Jim

Having same problem with battery going dead.. Took to dealership with bullitin in hand and they said they were aware of problem and would reset DCM and Update Firmware and that should take care of problem. waited 2.5 hours to be told firmware did not take vehicle still at dealership waiting for next move and call from them. No one was available to explain when vehicle supposively was ready to go Very frustrating 12-18-2020

Just talked to service manager and was informed updates had been performed and vehicle ready to go. Hopefully this battery issue is over. Will let readers know in a couple of days how this turns out..I do think Toyota is working on problems but as with any computers there are issues Wish we could go back a few years to where vehicles were more basic and did not have all this tech stuff

My new 2020 RAV4 would not start after sitting two days. Jump started vehicle and took it to Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach. They said battery is fine. The battery died since the SOS software was trying to update 24-7 causing the battery to die. They updated the DCM firmware to resolve this issue.
