HAve any RAV4 owners replaced the anemic 12v batter?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The reduce size 12v battery in the Rav4 hybrid appears to not be capable of powering the trickle load when the car is off, often being depleated over night, and is possible the source of other power issues.
Has anyone replaced this with an OPTIMA Red or Yellow top, or similar other more powerful battery, or a full size car battery?

It does NOT need a bigger battery. See the dealership if you are having issues.

My dealership had a chance and they blew it. I even talked to someone at Toyota Corporate this week and they blew it. Sooner or later enough people who have their car die on the roadside or have a dead battery in the morning are going to ask why this is happening to them again and again. The answer is NOT everything is fine. The answer we are looking for starts with sentence WHY? Then, if a serious discussion can take place they can call me back. Until then I will talk to owners who are attacking Rav4 problems on their own because the company isn't.
