79' Chevy K20 Custom Deluxe will not turn over.
I recently bought a 1979 Chevy K20 Custom Deluxe and it will not turn over. The first day I got the pickup, it ran perfectly fine. I drove it about a few miles or so and then it just stopped. No hiccups, no stuttering, nothing. It just dropped off. So obviously it's an electrical issue. The first day it would turn over but there was no electricity going to the Engine, only dash lights and the starter were working. I then replaced the Ignition Module, Distributor Rotor, Coil, and it still didn't start. The next day I came back and replaced the Ignition Switch on the top of the steering column and then the starter didn't work at all. I wiggled some connections and it turned over and started up. I then drove it about two more miles and then it stopped just like before. The spot I was at made it impossible to leave overnight because of the busy traffic so I got my towrope and pulled it home. It sat at home for a few days and today I went and found some fuses that were blown. I replaced those and it turned over. About thirty seconds later the starter just stopped again and didn't turn over. I rechecked all the fuses and none of them were blown. I took out the ignition switch and made sure the connections were all secure. Again, nothing. I don't believe it's an issue with the starter because it was stopping while driving. I am stuck right now and don't really know what the problem is. I need my work truck to do things around the house but can't get anything done because of my situation. Please, if you have any thoughts I would love to hear them.
