Shocks?

Question type: Car Customization

Hey, I just purchased some 20" rims for my 2002 Alero GlS 4door 2.2L. The problem I have is that the shocks are hitting the rim tire when the car is on the ground. Does anybody know how I can fix this problem?

Any time you upgraade wheels you need to upgrade your suspension as well, especially if you are going that big, my 1999 alero has 15 inch rims, and i wouldnt go bigger than 17-18" depending on looking at your wheel, they might be a little too wide.

they make offset wheels that can take care of the problem, but you will probably still have problems with the wheels rubbing- there is a reason those cars didn't come with 20's from the factory.
