what's the cause?

Question type: General

I have a 96 explorer xlt, when it is cold out, the lights dim, and kind of blink
until it gets warmed up. any suggestions?

Have yor battery load tested, and also check your alternator to see if its charging correctly.....

Clean all the battery cable connections, including where the ground attaches to the engine.
