Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada with a 4.3 L engine. It has been misfiring. In unplugging the spark wires from the distributor cap, I found that bank 1,3, and 5 are not working. The motor runs the same with all three of these unplugged at the same time!!! What could be some causes? I have already replaced all of the plugs and wires and the cap and rotor.

Do a compression check. Sounds like possibly a head or head gasket issue on that side.
