Car runs for about a hour then shuts off go to crank again and does not start. Can not hear fuel pump hum. Let it sit for a few hours and cranks up.

If can't hear the fuel pump run then it's your fuel pump I've had same problem before some times work some times didn't but it's your fuel pump going out just hasnt completely give out yet but sounds like it's real close to be
