My car keeps losing battery power. I changed the
alternator and the battery is good. For awhile if I
messed with the car door it would start charging
again but now that don't work. Does anybody have
any ideas??

Hook the battery up backwards, red to black and vice versa. This will restart the alternator. Let it run for 2-3 minutes.
might have a broken wire in the door harness, causing a short, discharging the batt
Don't hook up the batt backwards..
Please don't hook up the cables backwards, that could cause the battery to explode!!!! jump it and then take the Neg. cable off, if the car stays running, then the Alt. is charging, 13-14 volts. [fedups] has the right idea, the switch and or the wiring going to it could have a short, and is draining your battery..hope this helps
Very serious injuries have happen to people, to the eyes and hands do to a battery exploding...Remember, a car function is to get you from here to there. NOT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!!!!!! hope this helps
I don't think it's a short the door because the battery is holding a charge when the alternator is charging
